Teaching Philosophy

I focus on fundamentals. Any problem - regardless of its complexity - can be understood so long as the appropriate foundational concepts are in place. Throughout the semester I take great care to build concepts and ideas in a methodical process such that all students exit the course not only with new knowledge, but the foundation to build their own understandings of the world beyond the classroom.
